School closure procedures
Emergency Procedures
There are times when we might need to close the school as a result of an unforeseen incident. The most common reason to close the school will be due to snow or extreme weather. The decision to close is never taken lightly and is based on ensuring the site is safe for children to move around the school and sufficient staff are able to get in to supervise and teach. If at all possible, a decision will be taken before 7.00 a.m and communicated to parents by Arbor or Dojo and posted on the school’s website.
Bad weather procedures
Methods of communication used should the school need to close at any point due to snowy or bad weather conditions.
* Parents who are signed up to Arbor or Dojo will receive notification via these sites.
